There are plenty of ways to make time for reading without sacrificing your other commitments. For example, if you commute to work every day, why not bring a book with you? Not only will it help pass the time on your journey, but it will also give you a chance to relax and de-stress before starting work. Or, if you spend most nights scrolling through social media (we’ve all been there), why not replace that activity with reading instead? You could even combine both activities by downloading an e-book reader app onto your phone – this way, you can read while still going about your everyday life.

Another way to make time for reading is to set yourself a goal. This could be anything from “I want to read two pages each morning before I start my day” or “I want to finish one book each month”; whatever works best for you and fits into your schedule. Having a goal will help motivate and inspire you to keep going which is essential in order to become a successful reader! Finally, don’t forget that making time for reading doesn’t always have to mean setting aside dedicated blocks of time – sometimes just five minutes here or there can be enough!

All it takes is some simple lifestyle changes and dedication in order to develop good reading habits. Step 3 of My 87 Step Guide to Always Be Reading: Make Time for Reading

So, you’ve taken the first step and decided that you want to always be reading. Now what? Time to get some books! Whether you are looking for physical copies or digital ones, there are many ways to find the books that interest you. Let’s explore your options on how to get your book shopping on!

The classic way of getting books is by going to a bookstore. In the era of Amazon and other online retailers, this might seem like an antiquated way of doing things but it can still be incredibly rewarding. Going into a physical bookstore has its own charm. You can actually hold the book in your hand, read the back cover, maybe even open it up and take a look at the first page or two. And if you’re lucky enough, you may even find yourself talking with one of the staff members who may have some great recommendations for you!

Of course, if time constraints don’t allow for a trip out to your local bookstore then we have something else available: online retailers! This could be Amazon or any other number of online stores where you can purchase books digitally either as an ebook or audio format. One thing I love about this option is that many times these retailers will offer discounts on certain books depending on what type of subscription service (if any) that you use with them. So it pays off to do some research and check out all of your options before making a purchase!

Do not forget about borrowing from friends and family when looking for new reads! Have someone loaned you their favorite book? This is an excellent way to get access to new titles without having to spend money on them right away. Plus, if they enjoyed it so much then chances are good that it will end up being something that interests you too!

No matter which method(s) you choose when searching for your next read, just remember that there are plenty of different routes available. From traditional brick-and-mortar stores to modern digital outlets—you can find whatever suits your needs best. The most important part is just finding something interesting enough for you to start reading it; I know I need something engaging with lots of action otherwise I won't make it past page 5 haha!. So you want to be one of those people that's always reading? Or maybe you just want to get into the habit of reading more? Well, I'm here to tell you that if I can do it, so can you. The first step in this 87-step guide is finding out what you like to read.

This part isn't as hard as it sounds. In fact, there are lots of surveys out there designed specifically for finding the perfect book for your tastes. All you have to do is answer a few questions about your favorite genres, authors, and topics, and voila! You'll have a list of titles tailored just for you. Easy peasy!

If you're feeling a bit more adventurous (or if surveys aren't really your thing), why not take a trip down to your local bookstore and see what catches your eye? Spend some time perusing the shelves and see what makes you curious. Don't be afraid to pick up books that don't necessarily fit into any genre or category - sometimes the most interesting stories come from outside the box!

Finally, take some time to think about what kind of books would make great reads for you. Maybe it's something light and funny, or perhaps it's more serious literature. Maybe it's something completely unexpected - even magazines or web articles could count as reading material! Whatever strikes your fancy, write it down so you can keep track of all your ideas.
